واشهدت عليهم لتردهم الى شريعتك. واما هم فبغوا ولم يسمعوا لوصاياك واخطأوا ضد احكامك التي اذا عملها انسان يحيا بها. واعطوا كتفا معاندة وصلّبوا رقابهم ولم يسمعوا.

Obgleich du sie aber ernstlich warnen ließest, um sie zu deinem Gesetz zurückzuführen, waren sie doch trotzig und gehorchten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten gegen deine Verordnungen, obwohl der Mensch doch durch deren Beobachtung sein Leben bewahrt; sie wollten sich kein Joch auf ihre Schulter legen lassen und waren halsstarrig, so daß sie nicht gehorchten.

Und du ließest ihnen bezeugen, daß sie zu deinem Gesetze zurückkehren sollten; aber sie waren übermütig und folgten deinen Geboten nicht, sondern sündigten gegen deine Rechte, durch die der Mensch, wenn er sie befolgt, leben wird, und kehrten dir widerspenstig den Nacken zu und folgten nicht.

Und du verwarntest sie, um sie zu deinem Gesetze zurückzuführen; sie aber waren übermütig und hörten nicht auf deine Gebote und versündigten sich gegen deine Ordnungen, durch die doch leben soll, wer nach ihnen thut. Sie aber kehrten dir widerspenstig den Rücken zu und zeigten sich halsstarrig und gehorchten nicht.

Και διεμαρτυρηθης εναντιον αυτων, δια να επιστρεψης αυτους εις τον νομον σου· πλην αυτοι υπερηφανευθησαν και δεν υπηκουσαν εις τας εντολας σου, αλλ' ημαρτησαν εις τας κρισεις σου, τας οποιας εαν τις εκτελη, θελει ζησει δι' αυτων· και εδωκαν νωτον απειθη και εσκληρυναν τον τραχηλον αυτων και δεν ηκουσαν.

Και διεμαρτυρήθης εναντίον αυτών, διά να επιστρέψης αυτούς εις τον νόμον σου· πλην αυτοί υπερηφανεύθησαν και δεν υπήκουσαν εις τας εντολάς σου, αλλ' ημάρτησαν εις τας κρίσεις σου, τας οποίας εάν τις εκτελή, θέλει ζήσει δι' αυτών· και έδωκαν νώτον απειθή και εσκλήρυναν τον τράχηλον αυτών και δεν ήκουσαν.

Ils ont toujours tiré l’épaule en arrière, et ont roidi leur cou, et n’ont pas écouté.

Et tu rendis témoignage contre eux pour les ramener à ta loi; mais ils agirent avec fierté, et n’écoutèrent pas tes commandements, et péchèrent contre tes ordonnances, par lesquelles, s’il les pratique, un homme vivra; et ils opposèrent une épaule revêche, et roidirent leur cou, et n’écoutèrent pas.

Vous rendîtes témoignage contre eux, pour les ramener à votre loi, et eux, persévérant dans l'orgueil, n'écoutèrent point vos commandements; ils transgressèrent vos ordonnances, bien que celui qui les met en pratique trouve en elles la vie; ils présentèrent une épaule rebelle, ils raidirent leur cou et ils n'écoutèrent point.

और उन को चिताता था कि उन को फिर अपनी व्यवस्था के आधीन कर दे। परन्तु वे अभिमान करते रहे और तेरी आज्ञाएं नहीं मानते थे, और तेरे नियम, जिन को यदि मनुष्य माने, तो उनके कारण जीवित रहे, उनके विरुद्ध पाप करते, और हठ कर के अपना कन्धा हटाते और न सुनते थे।

你警告他們，要他們轉向你的律法；但他們狂妄自大，不聽從你的誡命，犯罪干犯你的典章。人應遵行這些典章，按照它們生活，他們卻固執地扭轉肩頭，硬著頸項，不肯聽從。
