Και επηλθεν επ' αυτον πνευμα Κυριου· και κατεβη εις Ασκαλωνα και εφονευσε τριακοντα ανδρας εξ αυτων, και ελαβε τα ιματια αυτων, και εδωκε τας στολας εις τους εξηγησαντας το αινιγμα. Και εξηφθη ο θυμος αυτου, και ανεβη εις τον οικον του πατρος αυτου.

Και επήλθεν επ' αυτόν πνεύμα Κυρίου· και κατέβη εις Ασκάλωνα και εφόνευσε τριάκοντα άνδρας εξ αυτών, και έλαβε τα ιμάτια αυτών, και έδωκε τας στολάς εις τους εξηγήσαντας το αίνιγμα. Και εξήφθη ο θυμός αυτού, και ανέβη εις τον οίκον του πατρός αυτού.

And the Spirit of Jehovah came mightily upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and smote thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave the changes of raiment unto them that declared the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.

Kaj venis sur lin la spirito de la Eternulo, kaj li iris en Asxkelonon kaj mortigis tie tridek homojn kaj prenis iliajn vestojn kaj donis la kompletojn de iliaj vestoj al la solvintoj de la enigmo. Sed ekflamis lia kolero, kaj li foriris en la domon de sia patro.

耶 和 華 的 靈 大 大 感 動 參 孫 ， 他 就 下 到 亞 實 基 倫 ， 擊 殺 了 三 十 個 人 ， 奪 了 他 們 的 衣 裳 ， 將 衣 裳 給 了 猜 出 謎 語 的 人 。 參 孫 發 怒 ， 就 上 父 家 去 了 。

耶和華的靈大大感動參孫，參孫就下到亞實基倫，擊殺了他們中間三十個人，拿了剝下來的衣服，把三十套衣服給了那些把謎語的意思說出來的人；參孫怒氣沖沖地上自己的父家去了。
