Nun also, begütigt doch Gott, damit er uns Gnade erweise! Von eurer Hand ist solches geschehen; kann er da noch einem von euch Huld erweisen? spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen.

And now, I pray you, entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hosts.

What are you thinking up against the Lord? He will accomplish the consummation. There shall not rise up a double tribulation.

Så bønnfall nu Gud at han må bli oss nådig! Med egne hender har I gjort dette - kan han da for eders skyld være nådig? sier Herren, hærskarenes Gud.
