فضرب يشوع كل ارض الجبل والجنوب والسهل والسفوح وكل ملوكها. لم يبق شاردا بل حرّم كل نسمة كما امر الرب اله اسرائيل.

Giosuè dunque percosse tutto quel paese, la contrada del monte, e del Mezzodì, e della pianura, e delle pendici dei monti, insieme con tutti i re loro; egli non ne lasciò alcuno in vita; anzi distrusse al modo dell’interdetto ogni anima, come il Signore Iddio d’Israele avea comandato.

Vậy, Giô-suê đánh toàn xứ, nào miền núi, nào miền nam, nào đồng bằng, nào những gò nỗng, và các vua mấy miền đó. Người không để thoát khỏi một ai hết; phàm vật có hơi thở thì người diệt hết đi, y như Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên đã truyền dặn.

這 樣 ， 約 書 亞 擊 殺 全 地 的 人 ， 就 是 山 地 、 南 地 、 高 原 、 山 坡 的 人 ， 和 那 些 地 的 諸 王 ， 沒 有 留 下 一 個 。 將 凡 有 氣 息 的 盡 行 殺 滅 ， 正 如 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 所 吩 咐 的 。
