لم تحضر لي شاة محرقتك وبذبائحك لم تكرمني. لم استخدمك بتقدمة ولا اتعبتك بلبان.
Nepřivedl jsi mi hovádka k zápalům svým, a obětmi svými neuctils mne; nenutil jsem tě, abys mi sloužil obětmi suchými, aniž jsem tě tím obtěžoval, abys mi kadil.
Du bragte mig ikke Faar til dine Brændofre, ej heller ærede du mig med dine Slagtofre, jeg har ikke gjort dig Besvær med Madoffer og ikke Møje med at kræve Røgelse.

Thou hast not brought me of thy sheep for burnt-offerings; neither hast thou honored me with thy sacrifices. I have not burdened thee with offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
You have not made me burned offerings of sheep, or given me honour with your offerings of beasts; I did not make you servants to give me an offering, and I did not make you tired with requests for perfumes.
