ولما سمع اليشع رجل الله ان ملك اسرائيل قد مزّق ثيابه ارسل الى الملك يقول لماذا مزّقت ثيابك. ليات اليّ فيعلم انه يوجد نبي في اسرائيل.

A když uslyšel Elizeus muž Boží, že roztrhl král Izraelský roucho své, poslal k králi, řka: Proč jsi roztrhl roucho své? Nechť nyní přijde ke mně a zvíť, že jest prorok v Izraeli.

Als nun der Gottesmann Elisa erfuhr, daß der König von Israel seine Kleider zerrissen habe, sandte er zum König und ließ ihm sagen: »Warum hast du deine Kleider zerrissen? Laß ihn doch zu mir kommen: er soll erfahren, daß es wirklich noch einen Propheten in Israel gibt!«

Als aber Elisa, der Mann Gottes, hörte, daß der König seine Kleider zerrissen habe, sandte er zum König und ließ ihm sagen: Warum hast du deine Kleider zerrissen? Er soll zu mir kommen, so wird er innewerden, daß ein Prophet in Israel ist!

Sobald aber Elisa, der Mann Gottes, vernahm, daß der König von Israel seine Kleider zerrissen habe, sandte er zum König und ließ ihm sagen: Warum hast du deine Kleider zerrissen? Laß ihn nur zu mir kommen, so soll er erfahren, daß es Propheten in Israel giebt!

Ως δε ηκουσεν ο Ελισσαιε, ο ανθρωπος του Θεου, οτι ο βασιλευς του Ισραηλ διεσχισε τα ιματια αυτου, απεστειλε προς τον βασιλεα, λεγων, Δια τι διεσχισας τα ιματια σου; ας ελθη τωρα προς εμε, και θελει γνωρισει οτι ειναι προφητης εν τω Ισραηλ.

Ως δε ήκουσεν ο Ελισσαιέ, ο άνθρωπος του Θεού, ότι ο βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ διέσχισε τα ιμάτια αυτού, απέστειλε προς τον βασιλέα, λέγων, Διά τι διέσχισας τα ιμάτιά σου; ας έλθη τώρα προς εμέ, και θέλει γνωρίσει ότι είναι προφήτης εν τω Ισραήλ.

And it was so, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
