ثم قال له ايليا امكث هنا لان الرب قد ارسلني الى الاردن. فقال حيّ هو الرب وحية هي نفسك اني لا اتركك. وانطلقا كلاهما.

Řekl mu ještě Eliáš: Poseď medle tuto, nebo Hospodin poslal mne k Jordánu. Kterýž odpověděl: Živť jest Hospodin, a živať jest duše tvá, žeť se tebe nespustím. Šli tedy oba.

Και ειπεν ο Ηλιας προς αυτον, Καθου ενταυθα, παρακαλω· διοτι ο Κυριος με απεστειλεν εις τον Ιορδανην. Ο δε ειπε, Ζη Κυριος και ζη η ψυχη σου, δεν θελω σε αφησει. Και υπηγαν αμφοτεροι.

Και είπεν ο Ηλίας προς αυτόν, Κάθου ενταύθα, παρακαλώ· διότι ο Κύριος με απέστειλεν εις τον Ιορδάνην. Ο δε είπε, Ζη Κύριος και ζη η ψυχή σου, δεν θέλω σε αφήσει. Και υπήγαν αμφότεροι.

And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.

Then Elijah said to him, Come no farther, for the Lord has sent me to Jordan. But he said, As the Lord is living and as your soul is living, I will not be parted from you. So they went on together.

Then Elijah said to him: “Remain here. For the Lord has sent me as far as the Jordan.” And he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not forsake you.” And so, the two of them continued on together.

And Elijah said to him, Abide here, I pray thee; for Jehovah has sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee! And they two went on.

And Elias said to him: Stay here, because the Lord hath sent me as far as the Jordan. And he said: as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on together.

Después le dijo Elías: “Quédate, te ruego, aquí; porque Yahvé me envía al Jordán.” Mas él le respondió: “Por la vida de Yahvé, y por la vida de tu alma, que no te dejaré.” Y ambos siguieron andando.

Azután monda néki Illés: Maradj itt, kérlek, mert az Úr engem a Jordán mellé küldött. De ő felele: Él az Úr és a te lelked, hogy el nem hagylak téged. És elmenének együtt mindketten.

Berkatalah Elia kepadanya: "Baiklah tinggal di sini, sebab TUHAN menyuruh aku ke sungai Yordan." Jawabnya: "Demi TUHAN yang hidup dan demi hidupmu sendiri, sesungguhnya aku tidak akan meninggalkan engkau." Lalu berjalanlah keduanya."

以 利 亞 對 以 利 沙 說 ： 耶 和 華 差 遣 我 往 約 但 河 去 ， 你 可 以 在 這 裡 等 候 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 我 指 著 永 生 的 耶 和 華 ， 又 敢 在 你 面 前 起 誓 ， 我 必 不 離 開 你 。 於 是 二 人 一 同 前 往 。
