فقال داود لاخيش ان كنت قد وجدت نعمة في عينيك فليعطوني مكانا في احدى قرى الحقل فاسكن هناك. ولماذا يسكن عبدك في مدينة المملكة معك.

Řekl pak David Achisovi: Prosím, jestliže jsem nalezl milost před očima tvýma, ať mi dají místo v některém městě krajiny této, abych tam bydlil; nebo proč má bydliti služebník tvůj s tebou v městě královském?

Og David sagde til Akis: Kære, dersom jeg har fundet Naade for dine Øjne, saa lad dem give mig et Sted i een af Byerne i Landet, at jeg maa blive der; thi hvorfor skal din Tjener bo i den kongelige Stad hos dig?

Und David sprach zu Achis: Wenn ich anders Gnade in deinen Augen gefunden habe, so gebe man mir einen Platz in einer der Städte des Gefildes, daß ich daselbst wohne; denn warum soll dein Knecht bei dir in der Königsstadt wohnen?

Und David sprach zu Achis: Wenn ich doch Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden habe, so laß mir einen Platz in einer der Städte auf dem Lande geben, daß ich darin wohne; denn warum sollte dein Knecht bei dir in der königlichen Stadt wohnen?

David aber bat Achis: Wenn du mir irgend gewogen bist, so würdest du mir vielleicht einen Platz in einer der Landstädte zum Aufenthalt anweisen lassen; wozu doch soll dein Sklave bei dir in der Hauptstadt wohnen?

Και ειπεν ο Δαβιδ προς τον Αγχους, Εαν ευρηκα τωρα χαριν εις τους οφθαλμους σου, ας μοι δοθη τοπος εις τινα των πολεων της εξοχης, δια να καθησω εκει· διοτι πως να καθηται ο δουλος σου μετα σου εν τη βασιλευουση πολει;

Και είπεν ο Δαβίδ προς τον Αγχούς, Εάν εύρηκα τώρα χάριν εις τους οφθαλμούς σου, ας μοι δοθή τόπος εις τινά των πόλεων της εξοχής, διά να καθήσω εκεί· διότι πως να κάθηται ο δούλός σου μετά σου εν τη βασιλευούση πόλει;

And David said unto Achish, If now I have found favor in thine eyes, let them give me a place in one of the cities in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?

Then David said to Achish, If now I have grace in your eyes, let me have a place in one of the smaller towns of your land, to be my living-place; for it is not right for your servant to be living with you in the king's town.

And David said to Achish: “If I have found favor in your eyes, let a place be given to me in one of the cities of this region, so that I may live there. For why should your servant stay in the city of the king with you?”

And David said to Achish, If now I have found favour in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some country-town, that I may abide there; for why should thy servant abide in the royal city with thee?

And David said to Achis: If I have found favour in thy sight, let a place be given me in one of the cities of this country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?

And Dauid saide vnto Achish, If I haue nowe founde peace in thine eyes, let them giue me a place in some other citie of the countrey, that I may dwell there: for why should thy seruant dwel in ye head citie of the kingdome with thee?

And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?

Dijo David a Aquís: “Si he hallado gracia a tus ojos, que se me dé en una de las ciudades del campo un lugar para morar allí. Pues ¿para qué ha de habitar tu siervo contigo en la ciudad real?”

Y David dijo a Aquis: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, séame dado lugar en alguna de las ciudades de la tierra, donde habite: ¿por qué ha de morar tu siervo contigo en la ciudad real?

Berkatalah Daud kepada Akhis: "Jika kiranya aku mendapat belas kasihanmu, biarlah diberikan kepadaku tempat di salah satu kota di tanah datar, supaya aku tinggal di sana. Mengapa hambamu ini tinggal padamu di kota kerajaan ini?"

E Davide disse ad Achis: Deh! se io sono in grazia tua, siami data stanza in una delle città della campagna, acciocchè io vi dimori; e perchè dimorerebbe il tuo servitore teco nella città reale?

Så sa David til Akis: Har jeg funnet nåde for dine øine, så la mig få et sted å bo på i en av landsbyene. Hvorfor skal din tjener bo hos dig i kongestaden?

David sagde til Akis: «Hev du aldri so liten godvilje for meg, so lat meg få bu i ein av landsbyarne, so eg kann halda meg der. Kvifor skulde tenaren din bu i hovudstaden hjå deg?»

David a zis lui Achiş: ,,Dacă am căpătat trecere înaintea ta, rogu-te să mi se dea într'una din cetăţile ţării un loc unde să pot locui; căci pentruce să locuiască robul tău cu tine în cetatea împărătească?``
