فقال الكاهن ان سيف جليات الفلسطيني الذي قتلته في وادي البطم ها هو ملفوف في ثوب خلف الافود فان شئت ان تأخذه فخذه لانه ليس آخر سواه هنا. فقال داود لا يوجد مثله اعطني اياه

David fragte Ahimelech: Ist hier irgendwo ein Speer oder Schwert zur Hand? Ich habe nämlich weder mein Schwert, noch meine waffen mitgenommen, weil der Befehl des Königs so dringend war.

And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the vale of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it; for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
