فقال شاول لداود لا تستطيع ان تذهب لهذا الفلسطيني لتحاربه لانك غلام وهو رجل حرب منذ صباه.

Και ειπεν ο Σαουλ προς τον Δαβιδ, Δεν δυνασαι να υπαγης εναντιον του Φιλισταιου τουτου δια να πολεμησης μετ' αυτου· διοτι συ εισαι παιδιον, αυτος δε ανηρ πολεμιστης εκ νεοτητος αυτου.

Και είπεν ο Σαούλ προς τον Δαβίδ, Δεν δύνασαι να υπάγης εναντίον του Φιλισταίου τούτου διά να πολεμήσης μετ' αυτού· διότι συ είσαι παιδίον, αυτός δε ανήρ πολεμιστής εκ νεότητος αυτού.

And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
