ففعل صموئيل كما تكلم الرب وجاء الى بيت لحم. فارتعد شيوخ المدينة عند استقباله وقالوا أسلام مجيئك.

Και έκαμεν ο Σαμουήλ εκείνο το οποίον είπεν ο Κύριος, και ήλθεν εις Βηθλεέμ. Ετρόμαξαν δε οι πρεσβύτεροι της πόλεως εις την συνάντησιν αυτού και είπον, Εν ειρήνη έρχεσαι;

And Samuel did that which Jehovah spake, and came to Beth-lehem. And the elders of the city came to meet him trembling, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
