وتكلم الشعب على الله وعلى موسى قائلين لماذا اصعدتمانا من مصر لنموت في البرية لانه لا خبز ولا ماء وقد كرهت انفسنا الطعام السخيف.
A mluvil lid proti Bohu a proti Mojžíšovi: Proč jste vyvedli nás z Egypta, abychom zemřeli na poušti? Nebo ani chleba ani vody není, a duše naše chléb tento ničemný sobě již zošklivila.

Und das Volk führte freche Reden wider Gott, und wider Mose: Habt ihr uns dazu aus Ägypten weggeführt, damit wir in der Steppe umkommen? Es giebt ja weder Brot noch Wasser, und die elende Nahrung widert uns an!
Και ελαλησεν ο λαος κατα του Θεου και κατα του Μωυσεως, λεγοντες, Δια τι ανεβιβασας ημας εξ Αιγυπτου δια ν' αποθανωμεν εν τη ερημω; διοτι αρτος δεν ειναι και υδωρ δεν ειναι και η ψυχη ημων αηδιασε τον αρτον τουτον, τον ελαφρον.
Και ελάλησεν ο λαός κατά του Θεού και κατά του Μωϋσέως, λέγοντες, Διά τι ανεβίβασας ημάς εξ Αιγύπτου διά ν' αποθάνωμεν εν τη ερήμω; διότι άρτος δεν είναι και ύδωρ δεν είναι και η ψυχή ημών αηδίασε τον άρτον τούτον, τον ελαφρόν.
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And crying out against God and against Moses, they said, Why have you taken us out of Egypt to come to our death in the waste land? For there is no bread and no water, and this poor bread is disgusting to us.
And speaking against God and Moses, they said: “Why did you lead us away from Egypt, so as to die in the wilderness? Bread is lacking; there are no waters. Our soul is now nauseous over this very light food.”

y murmuró contra Dios y contra Moisés: “¿Por qué nos habéis sacado de Egipto para morir en el desierto? Pues no hay pan, y no hay agua; nos provoca ya náusea este pan miserable.”
Y habló el pueblo contra Dios, y Moisés: ¿Por qué nos hicisteis subir de Egipto para que muramos en este desierto? que ni hay pan, ni agua, y nuestra alma tiene fastidio de este pan tan liviano.

og de talte mot Gud og mot Moses og sa: Hvorfor har I ført oss op fra Egypten, så vi må dø her i ørkenen? For her er hverken brød eller vann, og vi er inderlig leie av denne usle mat.

Och folket talade emot Gud och emot Mose och sade: »Varför haven I fört oss upp ur Egypten, så att vi måste dö i öknen? Här finnes ju varken bröd eller vatten, och vår själ vämjes vid den usla föda vi få.»
Tanrı'dan ve Musa'dan yakınarak, “Çölde ölelim diye mi bizi Mısır'dan çıkardınız?” dediler, “Burada ne ekmek var, ne de su. Ayrıca bu iğrenç yiyecekten de tiksiniyoruz!”
