Da hieben auch sämtliche Krieger Mann für Mann einen Busch ab, schritten dann hinter Abimelech her, warfen ihn über den Kellerraum und steckten ihnen so den Kellerraum von oben her in Brand, so daß nun auch sämtliche Bewohner der Burg von Sichem ums Leben kamen - bei 1000 Männer und Weiber.
