فقال ارفع عينيك وانظر. جميع الفحول الصاعدة على الغنم مخطّطة ورقطاء ومنمّرة. لاني قد رأيت كل ما يصنع بك لابان.
I řekl: Pozdvihni nyní očí svých a pohleď, že všickni berani scházející se s ovcemi jsou přepásaní na nohách, peřestí a skropení; nebo jsem viděl všecko, co tobě Lában dělá.
Og han sagde: Opløft nu dine Øjne, og se, alle Bukkene, som springe Kvæget, ere brogede, spættede og haglede; thi jeg har set alt det, Laban gør dig.

Και ειπεν, Υψωσον τωρα τους οφθαλμους σου, και ιδε παντας τους τραγους και τους κριους, τους αναβαινοντας επι τα προβατα και τας αιγας, οτι ειναι παρδαλοι, ποικιλοι και στικτοι· διοτι ειδον παντα οσα καμνει εις σε ο Λαβαν·
Και είπεν, Ύψωσον τώρα τους οφθαλμούς σου, και ιδέ πάντας τους τράγους και τους κριούς, τους αναβαίνοντας επί τα πρόβατα και τας αίγας, ότι είναι παρδαλοί, ποικίλοι και στικτοί· διότι είδον πάντα όσα κάμνει εις σε ο Λάβαν·
And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see: all the he-goats which leap upon the flock are ringstreaked, speckled, and grizzled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.
And he said, See how all the he-goats are banded and marked and coloured: for I have seen what Laban has done to you.
And he said: ‘Lift up your eyes, and see that all the males climbing on the females are variegated, spotted, and also speckled. For I have seen all that Laban has done to you.
And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see: all the rams that leap upon the flock are ringstraked, speckled, and spotted; for I have seen all that Laban does to thee.
And he said: Lift up thy eyes, and see that all the males leaping upon the females, are of divers colours, spotted and speckled. For I have seen all that Laban hath done to thee.
And he sayde, Lift vp nowe thine eyes, and see all the hee goates leaping vpon ye shee goates that are partie coloured, spotted with litle and great spots: for I haue seene all that Laban doeth vnto thee.
And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle {are} ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

Da sa han: Se nu frem for dig, så skal du få se at alle bukkene som parrer sig med småfeet, er stripete, flekkete og prikkete; for jeg har sett alt det Laban gjør mot dig.
Då sagde han: «Lat upp augo, so skal du få sjå at alle bukkarne som spring på småfeet, er salute og droplute og skjengjute. For eg hev set korleis Laban fer åt mot deg.
