Als ich nun an dir vorüberging und dich sah, siehe, da war deine Zeit da, die Zeit der Liebe. Da breitete ich meine Decke über dich und bedeckte deine Blöße. Ich schwur dir auch und machte einen Bund mit dir, spricht Gott, der HERR; und du wurdest mein!

Ich machte dich zahllos, wie die Gewächse auf den Fluren, und du wuchsest und wurdest groß und gelangtest zu höchstem Reize: die Brüste waren steif geworden, und dein Haar sproßte kräftig; aber du warst noch immer nackt und bloß.

Και οτε διεβην απο πλησιον σου και σε ειδον, ιδου, η ηλικια σου ητο ηλικια ερωτος· και απλωσας το κρασπεδον μου επι σε, εσκεπασα την ασχημοσυνην σου· και ωμοσα προς σε και εισηλθον εις συνθηκην μετα σου, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος, και εγεινες εμου.
