فصرخ الى الرب. فاراه الرب شجرة فطرحها في الماء فصار الماء عذبا. هناك وضع له فريضة وحكما وهناك امتحنه.

Ο δε Μωϋσής εβόησε προς τον Κύριον· και έδειξεν εις αυτόν ο Κύριος ξύλον, το οποίον ότε έρριψεν εις τα ύδατα, τα ύδατα εγλυκάνθησαν. Εκεί έδωκεν εις αυτούς παραγγελίαν και διάταγμα, και εκεί εδοκίμασεν αυτούς·
