ولكي تخبر في مسامع ابنك وابن ابنك بما فعلته في مصر وبآياتي التي صنعتها بينهم. فتعلمون اني انا الرب

und damit du deinem Sohne und Enkel erzählst, was ich den Ägyptern angethan habe, und meine Wunderthaten, die ich an ihnen verrichtet habe, damit ihr erkennet, daß ich Jahwe bin.

και δια να διηγησαι εις τα ωτα του υιου σου και εις τον υιον του υιου σου, τα οσα επραξα εις τους Αιγυπτιους και τα σημεια μου οσα εκαμα εν μεσω αυτων, και να γνωρισητε οτι εγω ειμαι ο Κυριος.

και διά να διηγήσαι εις τα ώτα του υιού σου και εις τον υιόν του υιού σου, τα όσα έπραξα εις τους Αιγυπτίους και τα σημείά μου όσα έκαμα εν μέσω αυτών, και να γνωρίσητε ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος.

and that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought upon Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know that I am Jehovah.

And so that you may be able to give to your son and to your son's son the story of my wonders in Egypt, and the signs which I have done among them; so that you may see that I am the Lord.

and so that you may describe to the ears of your sons and your grandsons how often I opposed the Egyptians and wrought my signs among them, and so that you may know that I am the Lord.”
