Και ερωτησεν ο Δαβιδ τον Κυριον, λεγων, Να αναβω προς τους Φιλισταιους; θελεις παραδωσει αυτους εις την χειρα μου; Και ειπεν ο Κυριος προς τον Δαβιδ, Αναβα· διοτι βεβαιως θελω παραδωσει τους Φιλισταιους εις την χειρα σου.

Και ερώτησεν ο Δαβίδ τον Κύριον, λέγων, Να αναβώ προς τους Φιλισταίους; θέλεις παραδώσει αυτούς εις την χειρά μου; Και είπεν ο Κύριος προς τον Δαβίδ, Ανάβα· διότι βεβαίως θέλω παραδώσει τους Φιλισταίους εις την χείρα σου.

And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto David, Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into thy hand.

And David, desiring directions from the Lord, said, Am I to go up against the Philistines? will you give them up into my hands? And the Lord said, Go up, for I will certainly give up the Philistines into your hands.

And David consulted the Lord, saying: “Shall I ascend to the Philistines? And will you give them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David: “Ascend. For I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.”

And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? wilt thou give them into my hand? And Jehovah said to David, Go up; for I will certainly give the Philistines into thy hand.

And David consulted the Lord, Saying: Shall I go up to the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And the Lord said to David: Go up, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into thy hand.

Then Dauid asked counsel of the Lord, saying, Shall I goe vp to the Philistims? wilt thou deliuer them into mine handes? And the Lord answered Dauid, Goe vp: for I will doubtlesse deliuer the Philistims into thine handes.

And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

Da spurte David Herren: Skal jeg dra ut mot filistrene? Vil du gi dem i min hånd? Og Herren svarte: Dra ut! Jeg vil gi filistrene i din hånd.

Då gjorde David det spursmålet til Herren: «Skal eg draga upp mot filistarane? Vil du gjeva deim i mi hand?» Herren svara David: «Drag upp, eg vil gjeva filistarane i di hand.»
