Επλησιασαν δε οι δουλοι αυτου και ελαλησαν προς αυτον και ειπον· Πατερ μου, εαν ο προφητης ηθελε σοι ειπει μεγα πραγμα, δεν ηθελες καμει αυτο; ποσω μαλλον τωρα, οταν σοι λεγη, Λουσθητι και καθαρισθητι;

Επλησίασαν δε οι δούλοι αυτού και ελάλησαν προς αυτόν και είπον· Πάτερ μου, εάν ο προφήτης ήθελε σοι ειπεί μέγα πράγμα, δεν ήθελες κάμει αυτό; πόσω μάλλον τώρα, όταν σοι λέγη, Λούσθητι και καθαρίσθητι;

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

Then his servants came to him and said, If the prophet had given you orders to do some great thing, would you not have done it? how much more then, when he says to you, Be washed and become clean?

Men hans tjenere trådte frem og talte til ham og sa: Min far! Dersom profeten hadde pålagt dig noget svært, vilde du da ikke ha gjort det? Hvor meget mere når han bare sier til dig: Bad dig, så skal du bli ren!

他 的 僕 人 進 前 來 ， 對 他 說 ： 我 父 啊 ， 先 知 若 吩 咐 你 做 一 件 大 事 ， 你 豈 不 做 麼 ？ 何 況 說 你 去 沐 浴 而 得 潔 淨 呢 ？

他的僕人上前，對他說：“我父啊，先知如果吩咐你作一件大事，你不是照著行嗎？何況他只是說：‘你去沐浴就得潔淨’呢？”
