فجمع الكهنة واللاويون وقال لهم. اخرجوا الى مدن يهوذا واجمعوا من جميع اسرائيل فضة لاجل ترميم بيت الهكم من سنة الى سنة وبادروا انتم الى هذا الأمر. فلم يبادر اللاويون.

I shromáždil kněží a Levíty, a řekl jim: Vyjděte do měst Judských, a vybírejte ode všeho Izraele peníze, na opravu domu Boha vašeho na každý rok, vy pak pospěšte s tou věcí. Ale nepospíchali Levítové.

Και συναγαγων τους ιερεις και τους Λευιτας, ειπε προς αυτους, Εξελθετε εις τας πολεις του Ιουδα, και συναγετε απο παντος του Ισραηλ αργυριον προς επισκευην του οικου του Θεου σας κατ' ετος, και επισπευσατε το πραγμα· οι Λευιται ομως δεν επεσπευσαν.

Και συναγαγών τους ιερείς και τους Λευΐτας, είπε προς αυτούς, Εξέλθετε εις τας πόλεις του Ιούδα, και συνάγετε από παντός του Ισραήλ αργύριον προς επισκευήν του οίκου του Θεού σας κατ' έτος, και επισπεύσατε το πράγμα· οι Λευΐται όμως δεν επέσπευσαν.

And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year; and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it not.

Og han samlet prestene og levittene og sa til dem: Dra ut til byene i Juda og samle inn penger fra hele Israel til å utbedre eders Guds hus efter som det trenges fra år til år, og skynd eder med å gjøre dette! Men levittene skyndte sig ikke dermed.
