Alsdann besetzte Jojada die Ämter am Tempel des HERRN mit den Priestern und den Leviten, die David für den Tempeldienst in Klassen abgeteilt hatte, damit sie dem HERRN die Brandopfer, wie es im mosaischen Gesetz vorgeschrieben ist, unter Freudenrufen und mit Gesängen nach der Anordnung Davids darbrächten.

Und Jojada legte die Ämter im Hause des HERRN in die Hand der Priester und Leviten, die David über das Haus des HERRN verteilt hatte, um dem HERRN Brandopfer darzubringen, wie im Gesetze Moses geschrieben steht, mit Freuden und Gesang, nach der Verordnung Davids.

Hierauf bestellte Jojada Wachen für den Tempel Jahwes durch die levitischen Priester, welche David für den Dienst am Tempel Jahwes in Klassen eingeteilt hatte, damit sie die Brandopfer Jahwes gemäß den Vorschriften des Gesetzes Moses unter Jubelruf und Gesängen nach der Anordnung Davids darbrächten.
