Και αποστειλαντες εσυναξαν παντας τους σατραπας των Φιλισταιων και ειπον, Αποπεμψατε την κιβωτον του Θεου του Ισραηλ, και ας επιστρεψη εις τον τοπον αυτης, δια να μη θανατωση ημας και τον λαον ημων· διοτι ητο τρομος θανατου εφ' ολην την πολιν· η χειρ του Θεου ητο εκει βαρεια σφορα.

Και αποστείλαντες εσύναξαν πάντας τους σατράπας των Φιλισταίων και είπον, Αποπέμψατε την κιβωτόν του Θεού του Ισραήλ, και ας επιστρέψη εις τον τόπον αυτής, διά να μη θανατώση ημάς και τον λαόν ημών· διότι ήτο τρόμος θανάτου εφ' όλην την πόλιν· η χειρ του Θεού ήτο εκεί βαρεία σφόρα.

Og de sendte bud og samlet alle filistrenes høvdinger og sa: Send Israels Guds ark bort, og la den komme tilbake til sin plass, så den ikke skal drepe mig og mitt folk! For det var kommet en dødsens forferdelse over hele byen; Herrens hånd lå meget tungt på den.

於是他們派人去召集非利士人各城的首領前來，對他們說：“請把以色列　神的約櫃送回原處，免得它殺害我們和我們的人民。”死亡的恐慌籠罩全城，因為　神的手重重地壓在那裡。
