لانه اذ كان العالم في حكمة الله لم يعرف الله بالحكمة استحسن الله ان يخلّص المؤمنين بجهالة الكرازة.

Denn sintemal in der Weisheit Gottes die Welt durch die Weisheit Gott nicht erkannte, so gefiel es Gott wohl, durch die Torheit der Predigt die Glaubenden zu erretten;

Da nun alles zu dem Opfer Erforderliche zugerichtet war, befahl Nehemia den Priestern, sie möchten mit dem Wasser die Holzscheite und die daraufliegenden Fleischstücke begießen.

Denn weil die Welt durch ihre Weisheit Gott in seiner Weisheit nicht erkannte, gefiel es Gott, durch die Torheit der Predigt diejenigen zu retten, welche glauben.

Nämlich: da unter der Weisheit Gottes die Welt Gott nicht erkannte durch die Weisheit, so beschloß Gott durch die Thorheit der Verkündigung zu erretten die Glaubenden.

Διοτι επειδη εν τη σοφια του Θεου ο κοσμος δεν εγνωρισε τον Θεον δια της σοφιας, ηυδοκησεν ο Θεος δια της μωριας του κηρυγματος να σωση τους πιστευοντας.

Διότι επειδή εν τη σοφία του Θεού ο κόσμος δεν εγνώρισε τον Θεόν διά της σοφίας, ηυδόκησεν ο Θεός διά της μωρίας του κηρύγματος να σώση τους πιστεύοντας.

For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom knew not God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save them that believe.

For because, by the purpose of God, the world, with all its wisdom, had not the knowledge of God, it was God's pleasure, by so foolish a thing as preaching, to give salvation to those who had faith in him.

Then he ordered them to draw it up and to carry it to him. And the priest, Nehemiah, ordered the sacrifices, which had been set out, to be sprinkled with the same water, both the wood and those things that were placed on it.

For since, in the wisdom ofGod, the world by wisdom has not knownGod,God has been pleased by the foolishness of the preaching to save those that believe.

因為在　神的智慧裡，世人憑自己的智慧，既然不能認識　神，　神就樂意藉著所傳的愚笨的道理，去拯救那些信的人。
