bis zuletzt Daniel vor mir erschien, der nach dem Namen meines Gottes Beltsazar genannt worden ist und in dem der Geist der heiligen Götter wohnt. Auch diesem trug ich den Traum folgendermaßen vor:

(H4-2) Da hatte ich einen Traum, der mich erschreckte, und die Gedanken auf meinem Lager und die Gesichte meines Hauptes ängstigten mich.

Zuletzt aber erschien vor mir Daniel, der nach dem Namen meines Gottes den Namen Beltsazar trägt und von heiligem göttlichem Geist erfüllt ist, und ich trug ihm den Traum vor:

Ειδον ενυπνιον, το οποιον με κατεπληξε, και οι διαλογισμοι μου επι της κλινης μου και αι ορασεις της κεφαλης μου με εταραξαν.

I saw a dream which made me afraid; and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

I saw a dream which was a cause of great fear to me; I was troubled by the images of my mind on my bed, and by the visions of my head.

And the Lord will create, over every place of Mount Zion and wherever he is called upon, a cloud by day and a smoke with the splendor of burning fire by night. For protection will be over every glory.

Till at the last Daniel came before mee, (whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, which hath the spirite of the holy gods in him) and before him I tolde the dreame, saying,

Leurs rameaux seront brisés encore tendres, leurs fruits sont inutiles, trop verts, pour être mangés, et impropres à tout usage.

Slutligen kom ock Daniel inför mig, han som hade fått namnet Beltesassar efter min guds namn, och i vilken heliga gudars ande är; och jag förtäljde drömmen för honom sålunda:

Beni korkutan bir düş gördüm. Yatağımda yatarken düşüncelerimle görümlerim beni ürküttü.
