رأيت السيد قائما على المذبح فقال اضرب تاج العمود حتى ترجف الاعتاب وكسّرها على رؤوس جميعهم فأقتل آخرهم بالسيف. لا يهرب منهم هارب ولا يفلت منهم ناج.

Ich sah den Allherrn am Altar stehen (mit einem Hammer in der Hand), und er sprach: »»Schlage an den Säulenknauf, daß die Pfosten beben, und zerschmettere sie, daß die Trümmer ihnen allen auf den Kopf fallen! Was dann von ihnen noch übrig ist, will ich mit dem Schwert umbringen: nicht einer von ihnen soll entrinnen und kein Flüchtling von ihnen davonkommen!

Ich sah den Herrn am Altare stehen, und er sprach: Schlage an den Säulenknauf, daß die Schwellen beben, und zerscheitere sie auf ihrer aller Haupt! Ihren Rest aber will ich mit dem Schwert umbringen, daß keiner entrinnen und kein Flüchtling sich retten kann.

Ich sah den Herrn am Altare stehen, und er befahl: Schlage an den Säulenknauf, daß die Schwellen erbeben; zerschmettere und schleudere sie auf ihrer aller Haupt! Ich will sie bis auf den Letzten mit dem Schwert erschlagen; keiner von ihnen soll entfliehen, keiner von ihnen sich retten.

Ειδον τον Κυριον ισταμενον επι του θυσιαστηριου, και ειπε, Παταξον το ανωφλιον της πυλης, δια να σεισθωσι τα προπυλαια, και συντριψον αυτα κατα της κεφαλης παντων τουτων· τους δε υπολοιπους αυτων θελω θανατωσει εν ρομφαια· ουδεις εξ αυτων φευγων θελει διαφυγει και ουδεις εξ αυτων σωζομενος θελει διασωθη.

Είδον τον Κύριον ιστάμενον επί του θυσιαστηρίου, και είπε, Πάταξον το ανώφλιον της πύλης, διά να σεισθώσι τα προπύλαια, και σύντριψον αυτά κατά της κεφαλής πάντων τούτων· τους δε υπολοίπους αυτών θέλω θανατώσει εν ρομφαία· ουδείς εξ αυτών φεύγων θέλει διαφύγει και ουδείς εξ αυτών σωζόμενος θέλει διασωθή.

I saw the Lord standing beside the altar: and he said, Smite the capitals, that the thresholds may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape.
