Poslal také Bůh anděla i na Jeruzalém, aby hubil jej. A když hubil, popatřil Hospodin, a zželelo mu se toho zlého. I řekl andělu, kterýž hubil: Dostiť jest, zdrž ruku svou. Anděl pak stál podlé humna Ornana Jebuzejského.

Und Gott sandte einen Engel nach Jerusalem, es zu verheeren; als er aber verheerte, sah Jahwe darein und ließ sich das Unheil gereuen und gebot dem Engel, der die Verheerung anzurichten hatte: Genug! Ziehe nun deine Hand ab! - der Engel Jahwes befand sich eben bei der Tenne des Jebusiters Ornan.

Και απέστειλεν ο Θεός άγγελον εις Ιερουσαλήμ, διά να εξολοθρεύση αυτήν· και ενώ εξωλόθρευεν, είδεν ο Κύριος και μετεμελήθη περί του κακού, και είπε προς τον άγγελον τον εξολοθρεύοντα, Αρκεί ήδη· σύρε την χείρα σου. Ίστατο δε ο άγγελος του Κυρίου πλησίον του αλωνίου του Ορνάν του Ιεβουσαίου.
