»Gerufen habe ich aus meiner Bedrängnis zum HERRN, da hat er mich erhört; aus dem Schoß der Unterwelt habe ich um Hilfe geschrien, da hast du mein Rufen vernommen.

(H2-4) Und doch hattest du mich in die Tiefe geschleudert, mitten ins Meer, daß mich die Strömung umspülte; alle deine Wogen und Wellen gingen über mich.

For thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me; All thy waves and thy billows passed over me.
