وبينما هو يتكلم اذ جاء آخر وقال. الكلدانيون عيّنوا ثلاث فرق فهجموا على الجمال واخذوها وضربوا الغلمان بحد السيف ونجوت انا وحدي لاخبرك.

A když ten ještě mluvil, jiný přišed, řekl: Kaldejští sšikovavše tři houfy, připadli na velbloudy, a zajali je, a služebníky zbili ostrostí meče, a utekl jsem toliko já sám, abych oznámil tobě.

Der redete noch, als ein anderer kam und sagte: Die Chaldäer haben drei Haufen aufgestellt und sind über die Kamele hergefallen und haben sie weggenommen und haben die Knaben mit der Schärfe des Schwertes erschlagen; ich aber bin entronnen, nur ich allein, um es dir anzuzeigen.

Noch redete dieser, da kam ein anderer und sprach: Die Chaldäer stellten drei Heerhaufen auf, fielen über die Kamele her und raubten sie; die Knechte aber erschlugen sie mit dem Schwert, und nur ich allein bin entronnen, dir's zu melden.

Ενω ουτος ετι ελαλει, ηλθε και αλλος και ειπεν, Οι Χαλδαιοι εκαμον τρεις λοχους και εφωρμησαν εις τας καμηλους και ηρπασαν αυτας· και τους δουλους επαταξαν εν στοματι μαχαιρας· και εγω μονος διεσωθην δια να σοι απαγγειλω.

Ενώ ούτος έτι ελάλει, ήλθε και άλλος και είπεν, Οι Χαλδαίοι έκαμον τρεις λόχους και εφώρμησαν εις τας καμήλους και ήρπασαν αυτάς· και τους δούλους επάταξαν εν στόματι μαχαίρας· και εγώ μόνος διεσώθην διά να σοι απαγγείλω.

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have taken them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Mens han ennu talte, kom en annen og sa: Kaldeerne delte sig i tre flokker og overfalt kamelene og tok dem, og drengene hugg de ned med sverdet, og bare jeg alene slapp unda, så jeg kunde melde dig det.
