وكان في السنة الثانية عشرة من سبينا في الشهر العاشر في الخامس من الشهر انه جاء اليّ منفلت من اورشليم فقال قد ضربت المدينة.

Im elften Jahr aber nach unserer Wegführung, im zehnten Monat, am fünften des Monats kam zu mir ein Flüchtling von Jerusalem mit der Kunde: die Stadt ist erobert!

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

While you are still living and breathing, let no one among all flesh change you.

I det tolvte år efterat vi var bortført, i den tiende måned, på den femte dag i måneden, kom det nogen flyktninger fra Jerusalem til mig og sa: Staden er inntatt.
