Das Ende eines lügenhaften Menschen ist ehrlos, und die Schande, die ihn trifft, bleibt für immer an ihm haften.

Έλεγον λοιπόν προς αυτόν οι άλλοι μαθηταί· Είδομεν τον Κύριον. Ο δε είπε προς αυτούς· Εάν δεν ίδω εν ταις χερσίν αυτού τον τύπον των ήλων και βάλω τον δάκτυλόν μου εις τον τύπον των ήλων, και βάλω την χείρα μου εις την πλευράν αυτού, δεν θέλω πιστεύσει.
