فاجابوا يشوع وقالوا أخبر عبيدك إخبارا بما امر به الرب الهك موسى عبده ان يعطيكم كل الارض ويبيد جميع سكان الارض من امامكم فخفنا جدا على انفسنا من قبلكم ففعلنا هذا الامر.

Kteříž odpovídajíce Jozue, řekli: Za věc jistou oznámeno bylo služebníkům tvým, kterak přikázal Hospodin Bůh tvůj Mojžíšovi služebníku svému, dáti vám zemi tuto, a vyhladiti všecky obyvatele země této před tváří vaší; protož strachovali jsme se vás, bojíce se za životy své před vámi, a učinili jsme to.

Og de svarede Josva og sagde: Fordi det blev dine Tjenere sikkert tilkendegivet, hvad Herren din Gud bød Mose sin Tjener, at han vilde give eder alt Landet og ødelægge alle Landets Indbyggere for eders Ansigt, saa frygtede vi saare for vort Liv for eders Ansigt og have gjort denne Gerning.

Und sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Weil deinen Knechten für gewiß berichtet wurde, daß Jehova, dein Gott, Mose, seinem Knechte, geboten hat, euch das ganze Land zu geben und alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch zu vertilgen, so fürchteten wir sehr für unser Leben euretwegen und taten diese Sache.

Und sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Weil deinen Knechten für gewiß berichtet wurde, daß Jehova, dein Gott, Mose, seinem Knechte, geboten hat, euch das ganze Land zu geben und alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch zu vertilgen, so fürchteten wir sehr für unser Leben euretwegen und taten diese Sache.

Da gaben sie dem Josua zur Antwort: »Deinen Knechten wurde als gewiß mitgeteilt, daß der HERR, dein Gott, seinem Knechte Mose geboten hat, euch dies ganze Land zu geben, und ihr solltet alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch her vertilgen. Da gerieten wir vor euch in große Furcht für unser Leben und haben so gehandelt.

Sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Es ist deinen Knechten als gewiß angezeigt worden, daß der HERR, dein Gott, Mose, seinem Knechte, geboten hat, euch das ganze Land zu geben und alle Einwohner des Landes vor euch her zu vertilgen; da fürchteten wir uns unseres Lebens halber sehr vor euch und haben darum solches getan.

Da erwiderten sie Josua und sprachen: Es wurde uns, deinen Knechten, berichtet, welche Anweisung Jahwe, dein Gott, seinem Knechte Mose gegeben hat, daß er euch das ganze Land verleihen und alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch vertilgen wolle. Da fürchteten wir sehr, ihr möchtet uns das Leben nehmen; darum handelten wir so.

Και απεκριθησαν προς τον Ιησουν λεγοντες, Επειδη οι δουλοι σου εμαθον μετα πληροφοριας οσα Κυριος ο Θεος σου διεταξεν εις τον δουλον αυτου Μωυσην, να δωση εις εσας πασαν την γην και να εξολοθρευση εμπροσθεν σας παντας τους κατοικους της γης, δια τουτο εφοβηθημεν απο σας σφοδρα δια την ζωην ημων και εκαμομεν το πραγμα τουτο·

Και απεκρίθησαν προς τον Ιησούν λέγοντες, Επειδή οι δούλοί σου έμαθον μετά πληροφορίας όσα Κύριος ο Θεός σου διέταξεν εις τον δούλον αυτού Μωϋσήν, να δώση εις εσάς πάσαν την γην και να εξολοθρεύση έμπροσθέν σας πάντας τους κατοίκους της γης, διά τούτο εφοβήθημεν από σας σφόδρα διά την ζωήν ημών και εκάμομεν το πράγμα τούτο·

And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that Jehovah thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; therefore we were sore afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

And, answering Joshua, they said, Because it came to the ears of your servants that the Lord your God had given orders to his servant Moses to give you all this land, and to send destruction on all the people living in it, because of you; so, fearing greatly for our lives because of you, we have done this.

And they responded: “It was reported to us, your servants, that the Lord your God had promised his servant Moses that he would give you the entire land, and that he would destroy all its inhabitants. Therefore, we were very afraid, and we made a provision for our lives, compelled by the dread of you, and we undertook this counsel.

And they answered Joshua and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants how that Jehovah thyGod commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; and we feared greatly for our lives because of you, and did this thing.

They answered: It was told us, thy servants, that the Lord thy God had promised his servant Moses, to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants thereof. Therefore we feared exceedingly and provided for our lives, compelled by the dread we had of you, and we took this counsel.

And they answered Ioshua, and sayd, Because it was tolde thy seruants, that the Lord thy God had commanded his seruant Moses to giue you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land out of your sight, therefore we were exceeding sore afraid for our liues at the presence of you, and haue done this thing:

And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

They answered Joshua, and said, "Because your servants were certainly told how the Lord your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you. Therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were greatly afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

They answered Joshua, and said, “Because your servants were certainly told how Yahweh your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you. Therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

And they answer Joshua and say, `Because it was certainly declared to thy servants, that Jehovah thy God commanded Moses His servant to give to you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you; and we fear greatly for ourselves because of you, and we do this thing;

Kaj ili respondis al Josuo kaj diris:Estis dirite al viaj sklavoj, ke la Eternulo, via Dio, promesis al Sia servanto Moseo, ke Li donos al vi la tutan landon kaj ekstermos antaux vi cxiujn logxantojn de la lando; tial ni tre ektimis antaux vi pri nia vivo, kaj ni faris tiun aferon.

Respondieron ellos a Josué, diciendo: “Es que llegó a tus siervos la noticia de la orden dada por Yahvé a Moisés de entregaros todo el país y de destruir a todos sus habitantes delante de vosotros; y temiendo de vuestra parte mucho por nuestras vidas hemos hecho esto.

Y ellos respondieron a Josué, y dijeron: Como fue dado a entender a tus siervos, que Jehová tu Dios había mandado a Moisés su siervo, que os había de dar toda la tierra, y que había de destruir todos los moradores de la tierra delante de vosotros; por esto temimos en grande manera de vosotros por nuestras vidas, e hicimos esto.

Y ellos respondieron á Josué, y dijeron: Como fué dado á entender á tus siervos, que Jehová tu Dios había mandado á Moisés su siervo que os había de dar toda la tierra, y que había de destruir todos los moradores de la tierra delante de vosotros, por esto temimos en gran manera de vosotros por nuestras vidas, é hicimos esto.

He vastasivat Josuaa ja sanoivat: se on todella sanottu sinun palvelioilles, että Herra sinun Jumalas on käskenyt palveliansa Moseksen antaa teille kaiken tämän maan ja hävittää teidän edestänne kaikki maan asuvaiset; niin me suuresti pelkäsimme henkeämme teidän edessänne ja teimme tämän.

He vastasivat Josuaa ja sanoivat: se on todella sanottu sinun palvelioilles, että Herra sinun Jumalas on käskenyt palveliansa Moseksen antaa teille kaiken tämän maan ja hävittää teidän edestänne kaikki maan asuvaiset; niin me suuresti pelkäsimme henkeämme teidän edessänne ja teimme tämän.

Alors ils répondirent à Josué, et dirent: C'est qu'il a été rapporté à tes serviteurs, que l'Éternel ton Dieu avait commandé à Moïse, son serviteur, de vous donner tout le pays et d'en exterminer tous les habitants devant vous, et nous avons craint extrêmement pour nos personnes devant vous, et nous avons fait cela.

Et ils répondirent à Josué et lui dirent: C'est qu'on a rapporté à tes serviteurs l'ordre donné par l'Eternel ton Dieu à Moïse son serviteur, que tout le pays vous fût livré et que tous les habitants du pays fussent exterminés devant vous. Et nous avons extrêmement craint pour nos vies devant vous, et nous avons agi ainsi.

Et ils répondirent à Josué, et dirent: Après qu’il a été exactement rapporté à tes serviteurs, que l’Eternel ton Dieu avait commandé à Moïse son serviteur qu’on vous donnât tout le pays, et qu’on exterminât tous les habitants du pays de devant vous, nous avons craint extrêmement pour nos personnes à cause de vous, et nous avons fait ceci.

Et ils répondirent à Josué, et dirent: Parce qu’il a été clairement déclaré à tes serviteurs, que l’ Éternel, ton Dieu, avait commandé à Moïse, son serviteur, de vous donner tout le pays et d’exterminer tous les habitants du pays devant vous; et nous avons beaucoup craint pour nos vies à cause de vous, et nous avons fait cela.

Ils répondirent à Josué en disant: « C'est qu'on avait rapporté à tes serviteurs l'ordre donné par Yahweh ton Dieu, à Moïse, son serviteur, de vous livrer tout le pays et d'exterminer tous les habitants du pays devant vous. Et nous avons éprouvé à votre approche une grande crainte pour nos vies; c'est pourquoi nous avons agi de cette manière.

उन्होंने यहोशू को उत्तर दिया, तेरे दासों को यह निश्चय बतलाया गया था, कि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने अपने दास मूसा को आज्ञा दी थी कि तुम को वह सारा देश दे, और उसके सारे निवासियों तुम्हारे साम्हने से सर्वनाश करे; इसलिये हम लोगों को तुम्हारे कारण से अपने प्राणों के लाले पड़ गए, इसलिये हम ने ऐसा काम किया।

Azok pedig felelének Józsuénak, és mondának: Mivelhogy nyilván tudtokra esett a te szolgáidnak az, a mit az Úr, a ti Istenetek parancsolt vala Mózesnek, az ő szolgájának, hogy néktek adja ezt az egész földet, és hogy kiirtja előletek a földnek minden lakosát: igen féltettük tőletek a mi életünket, ezért cselekedtük ezt a dolgot.

Jawab mereka kepada Yosua, katanya: "Sebab telah dikabarkan dengan sungguh-sungguh kepada hamba-hambamu ini, bahwa TUHAN, Allahmu, memerintahkan kepada Musa hamba-Nya, memberikan seluruh negeri itu kepadamu dan memunahkan seluruh penduduk negeri itu dari depan kamu, maka sangatlah kami takut kehilangan nyawa, menghadapi kamu; itulah sebabnya kami melakukan yang demikian."

Ed essi risposero a Giosuè, e dissero: Noi l’abbiam fatto, perciocchè era stato rapportato per cosa certa a’ tuoi servitori ciò che il Signore Iddio tuo avea comandato a Mosè, suo servitore, di darvi tutto il paese, e di distruggere d’innanzi a voi tutti gli abitanti del paese; laonde noi, temendo grandemente di voi per le nostre persone, abbiamo fatto questa cosa;

E quelli risposero a Giosuè e dissero: "Era stato espressamente riferito ai tuoi servi che il tuo Dio, l’Eterno, aveva ordinato al suo servo Mosè di darvi tutto il paese e di sterminarne d’innanzi a voi tutti gli abitanti. E noi, al vostro appressarvi, siamo stati in gran timore per le nostre vite, ed abbiamo fatto questo.

그들이 여호수아에게 대답하여 가로되 `당신의 하나님 여호와께서 그 종 모세에게 명하사 이 땅을 다 당신들에게 주고 이 땅 모든 거민을 당신들의 앞에서 멸하라 하신 것이 당신의 종에게 분명히 들리므로 당신들을 인하여 우리 생명을 잃을까 심히 두려워 하여 이같이 하였나이다

그들이 여호수아에게 대답하여 가로되 당신의 하나님 여호와께서 그 종 모세에게 명하사 이 땅을 다 당신들에게 주고 이 땅 모든 거민을 당신들의 앞에서 멸하라 하신 것이 당신의 종에게 분명히 들리므로 당신들을 인하여 우리 생명을 잃을까 심히 두려워하여 이같이 하였나이다

De svarte Josva og sa: Dine tjenere hadde fått vite at Herren din Gud hadde sagt til Moses, sin tjener, at han vilde gi eder hele landet og utrydde alle landets innbyggere for eder; da blev vi så redde for at I skulde ta vårt liv; derfor gjorde vi dette.

Då svara dei Josva so: «Det vart sagt oss for visst at Herren, din Gud, hadde lova Moses, tenaren sin, å gjeva dykk heile landet og rydja ut for dykk alle som budde der; då vart me so rædde for livet vårt; difor gjorde me dette.

Którzy odpowiedzieli Jozuemu, i rzekli: Zapewne oznajmiono było sługom twoim, jako był rozkazał Pan, Bóg twój, Mojżeszowi słudze swemu, aby wam dał wszystkę ziemię, a iżby wygładził wszystkie mieszkające w tej ziemi przed twarzą waszą; przetoż baliśmy się bardzo o żywot nasz przed wami, i uczyniliśmy tę rzecz.

Respondendo a Josué, disseram: Porquanto foi anunciado aos teus servos que o Senhor teu Deus ordenou a Moisés, seu servo, que vos desse toda esta terra, e destruísse todos os seus moradores diante de vós, temíamos muito pelas nossas vidas por causa de vós, e fizemos isso.

E eles responderam a Josué, e disseram: Quando foi dado a entender a teus servos, que o SENHOR teu Deus havia mandado a Moisés seu servo que vos havia de dar toda a terra, e que havia de destruir todos os moradores da terra diante de vós, por isto temos muito medo de vós por nossas vidas, e fizemos isto.

E eles responderam a Josué, e disseram: Quando foi dado a entender a teus servos, que o SENHOR teu Deus havia mandado a Moisés seu servo que vos havia de dar toda a terra, e que havia de destruir todos os moradores da terra diante de vós, por isto temos muito medo de vós por nossas vidas, e fizemos isto.

Eles responderam, dizendo: "Porque foi dito aos teus servos que Yahweh, vosso Deus, mandou Seu servo Moisés para vos dar toda esta terra, e destruir todos os moradores desta terra diante de vós. Então, temíamos muito pelas nossas vidas, por causa de vós. Então fizemos isso.

Ei au răspuns lui Iosua, şi au zis: ,,Robii tăi au auzit de poruncile date de Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, robului Său Moise, ca să vă dea în mînă toată ţara şi să nimicească dinaintea voastră pe toţi locuitorii ei; şi venirea voastră a băgat mare frică în noi cu privire la viaţa noastră: iată de ce am lucrat aşa.

И поступил с ними так: избавил их от руки сынов Израилевых, и они не умертвили их;

De svarade Josua och sade: »Det hade blivit berättat för dina tjänare huru HERREN, din Gud, hade tillsagt sin tjänare Mose att han ville giva eder hela detta land och förgöra alla landets inbyggare för eder; därför fruktade vi storligen för våra liv, när I kommen, och så gjorde vi detta.

Givonlular, “Efendimiz, Tanrın RAB'bin kulu Musa'ya verdiği buyruğu duyduk” diye karşılık verdiler, “Musa'ya bütün ülkeyi size vermesini, ülkede yaşayanların hepsini yok etmenizi buyurduğunu duyduk. Sizden çok korktuk, can korkusuyla böyle davrandık.

Chúng nó bèn thưa cùng Giô-suê rằng: Ấy là điều kẻ tôi tớ ông có hay rõ ràng Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời của ông đã phán dặn Môi-se, tôi tớ Ngài, biểu ban toàn xứ cho các ông, và diệt hết thảy dân ở trước mặt mình: ấy vậy, chúng tôi vì cớ các ông lấy làm rất sợ hãi cho sự sống mình, nên mới làm như vậy.

他 們 回 答 約 書 亞 說 ： 因 為 有 人 實 在 告 訴 你 的 僕 人 ， 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 曾 吩 咐 他 的 僕 人 摩 西 ， 把 這 全 地 賜 給 你 們 ， 並 在 你 們 面 前 滅 絕 這 地 的 一 切 居 民 ， 所 以 我 們 為 你 們 的 緣 故 甚 怕 喪 命 ， 就 行 了 這 事 。

他們回答約書亞，說：“因為你的僕人確實地聽見，耶和華你的　神曾經吩咐他的僕人摩西，要把這整片土地賜給你們，並且要在你們面前把這地上所有的居民都消滅，因此，我們因你們的緣故，很怕喪命，才行了這事。
