فلما صلّى عزرا واعترف وهو باك وساقط امام بيت الله اجتمع اليه من اسرائيل جماعة كثيرة جدا من الرجال والنساء والاولاد لان الشعب بكى بكاء عظيما

Ενώ δε ο Έσδρας προσηύχετο και εξωμολογείτο, κλαίων και πεπτωκώς έμπροσθεν του οίκου του Θεού, συνήχθη προς αυτόν εκ του Ισραήλ σύναξις μεγάλη σφόδρα, άνδρες και γυναίκες και παιδία· διότι έκλαιεν ο λαός κλαυθμόν μέγαν.

Now while Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there was gathered together unto him out of Israel a very great assembly of men and women and children; for the people wept very sore.

Mens nu Esras lå gråtende på jorden foran Guds hus og bad og bekjente, samlet det sig om ham en meget stor skare av Israels folk, både menn og kvinner og barn; for folket gråt sårt.

認罪禱告的結果以斯拉禱告、認罪、哭泣，俯伏在　神的殿前的時候，有一大群以色列人，包括男女小孩，在他面前聚集；眾人也都痛哭。
