ولما رأى رجال اسرائيل الذين في عبر الوادي والذين في عبر الاردن ان رجال اسرائيل قد هربوا وان شاول وبنيه قد ماتوا تركوا المدن وهربوا فاتى الفلسطينيون وسكنوا بها

Když pak uzřeli synové Izraelští, kteříž bydlili za tím údolím, a kteříž bydlili za Jordánem, že zutíkali muži Izraelští, nadto že Saul i synové jeho zahynuli, opustivše města, také utíkali. I přišli Filistinští a bydlili v nich.

Και οι άνδρες Ισραήλ, οι πέραν της κοιλάδος, και οι πέραν του Ιορδάνου, ιδόντες ότι έφυγον οι άνδρες Ισραήλ και ότι ο Σαούλ και οι υιοί αυτού απέθανον, κατέλιπον τας πόλεις και έφυγον. και ελθόντες οι Φιλισταίοι κατώκησαν εν αυταίς.
