فقال الملك داود لأرنان لا. بل شراء اشتريه بفضة كاملة لاني لا آخذ مالك للرب فاصعد محرقة مجّانيّة.

Král pak David řekl Ornanovi: Nikoli, ale raději koupím je od tebe za slušné peníze; neboť nevezmu, což tvého jest, Hospodinu, aniž budu obětovati oběti zápalné darem dané.

Og Kong David sagde til Ornan: Ikke saa, men jeg vil visselig købe det for fuld Betaling; thi jeg vil ikke tage det, som tilhører dig, til Herren og til at ofre Brændoffer for intet.

Ο δε βασιλευς Δαβιδ ειπε προς τον Ορναν, Ουχι· αλλ' εξαπαντος θελω αγορασει αυτο εις την αξιαν τιμην· διοτι δεν θελω λαβει το σον δια τον Κυριον, ουδε θελω προσφερει ολοκαυτωμα δωρεαν.

Ο δε βασιλεύς Δαβίδ είπε προς τον Ορνάν, Ουχί· αλλ' εξάπαντος θέλω αγοράσει αυτό εις την αξίαν τιμήν· διότι δεν θέλω λάβει το σον διά τον Κύριον, ουδέ θέλω προσφέρει ολοκαύτωμα δωρεάν.

And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for Jehovah, nor offer a burnt-offering without cost.

And King David said to Ornan, No; I will certainly give you the full price for it, because I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or give a burned offering without payment.

And king David said to him: “By no means shall it be so. Instead, I will give money to you, as much as it is worth. For I must not take it from you, and thereby offer to the Lord holocausts that cost nothing.”

And king David said to Ornan, No; but I will in any case buy [them] for the full money; for I will not take that which is thine for Jehovah, to offer up a burnt-offering without cost.

And king David said to him: It shall not be so, but I will give thee money as much as it is worth: for I must not take it from thee, and so offer to the Lord holocausts free cost.

And King Dauid saide to Ornan, Not so: but I will bye it for sufficient money: for I wil not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offrings without cost.

Replicó el rey David a Ornan: “No, sino que lo compraré por su pleno valor en plata, pues no tomaré para Yahvé lo que es tuyo ni ofreceré holocaustos que nada me cuesten.”

大衛王對阿珥楠說：“不，我必照足價銀向你買；我不能拿你的東西獻給耶和華，也不能把沒有付代價的東西獻上作燔祭。”
