Και ειπον οι αρχοντες των υιων Αμμων προς τον Ανουν, Νομιζεις οτι ο Δαβιδ τιμων τον πατερα σου απεστειλε παρηγορητας προς σε; δεν ηλθον οι δουλοι αυτου προς σε δια να ερευνησωσι και να κατασκοπευσωσι και να καταστρεψωσι τον τοπον;

Και είπον οι άρχοντες των υιών Αμμών προς τον Ανούν, Νομίζεις ότι ο Δαβίδ τιμών τον πατέρα σου απέστειλε παρηγορητάς προς σε; δεν ήλθον οι δούλοι αυτού προς σε διά να ερευνήσωσι και να κατασκοπεύσωσι και να καταστρέψωσι τον τόπον;

But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honor thy father, in that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?
