Wenn der Priester ihm so Sühne für das Vergehen, das er sich hat zu Schulden kommen lassen, erwirkt hat, wird ihm Vergebung zuteil werden.«

Und er soll alles Fett davon nehmen, wie das Fett von dem Lamm des Dankopfers genommen wird, und der Priester soll es auf dem Altar verbrennen, über den Feuerflammen des HERRN, und also soll er ihm Sühne erwirken wegen seiner Sünde, die er begangen hat, so wird ihm vergeben werden.

Das gesamte Fett aber soll er wegnehmen, wie das Fett des Schaflamms beim Heilsopfer weggenommen zu werden pflegt, und der Priester soll es auf dem Altar über den Feueropfern Jahwes in Rauch aufgehn lassen. Wenn ihm so der Priester Sühne geschafft haben wird wegen des Vergehens, dessen er sich schuldig gemacht hatte, wird ihm vergeben werden.

και θελει αφαιρεσει παν το στεαρ αυτου, καθως αφαιρειται το στεαρ του προβατου απο της θυσιας της ειρηνικης προσφορας· και θελει καυσει αυτα ο ιερευς επι του θυσιαστηριου κατα τας προσφορας τας γινομενας δια πυρος εις τον Κυριον· και θελει καμει ο ιερευς εξιλεωσιν περι της αμαρτιας αυτου την οποιαν ημαρτησε, και θελει συγχωρηθη εις αυτον.
