Und der König trat an seinen Standort und machte einen Bund vor dem HERRN, daß er dem HERRN nachwandeln wolle, seine Gebote, seine Zeugnisse und seine Satzungen zu halten von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele, zu tun nach den Worten des Bundes, die in diesem Buch geschrieben sind.

Sodann stellte sich der König auf seinen Standort und übernahm die Verpflichtung vor Jahwe, daß sie Jahwe nachwandeln und seine Gebote, Zeugnisse und Satzungen von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele beobachten wollten, um so die Worte des Bundesgesetzes, die in diesem Buche geschrieben standen, zu befolgen.
