لانه كان من قبل الرب ان يشدد قلوبهم حتى يلاقوا اسرائيل للمحاربة فيحرّموا فلا تكون عليهم رأفة بل يبادون كما أمر الرب موسى

Nebo od Hospodina to bylo, že jsou zatvrdili byli srdce své, tak aby vyšli válečně proti Izraelovi, a aby je v prokletí vydal, a neučinil jim milosti, ale aby je zahubil, jakož přikázal Hospodin Mojžíšovi.

Denn von Jahwe war es so gefügt, daß er ihren Sinn verhärtete, so daß sie sich auf den Krieg mit Israel einließen, damit man ohne Gnade den Bann an ihnen vollstrecken und sie ausrotten könne, wie Jahwe Mose befohlen hatte.

for Herren laget det så at de forherdet sitt hjerte og drog i krig mot Israel, forat de skulde bli slått med bann og ingen nåde få, men ødelegges, således som Herren hadde befalt Moses.
