فداروا وهربوا الى البرية الى صخرة رمّون. فالتقطوا منهم في السكك خمسة آلاف رجل وشدوا وراءهم الى جدعوم وقتلوا منهم الفي رجل.
Těch pak, kteříž obrátivše se, utíkali na poušť k skále Remmon, zpaběrovali po cestách pět tisíc mužů; potom honili je až k Gidom, a zbili z nich dva tisíce mužů.

And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men, and followed hard after them unto Gidom, and smote of them two thousand men.
And turning, they went in flight to the rock of Rimmon in the waste land: and on the highways five thousand of them were cut off by the men of Israel, who, pushing on hard after them to Geba, put to death two thousand more.

Så vendte de sig og flyktet til ørkenen bortimot Rimmons klippe, og på alfarveiene holdt de en efterslett iblandt dem på fem tusen mann, og de forfulgte dem til Gideon og slo to tusen mann av dem.
