Und das Weib ging zu Saul hin und sah, daß er sehr erschrocken war, und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, deine Magd hat deiner Stimme gehorcht, und ich habe mein Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt, daß ich deinen Worten gehorcht habe, die du zu mir sagtest.

Nun lief das Weib herzu zu Saul, und als sie sah, wie sehr er entsetzt war, redete sie ihn an: Nachdem nun deine Magd dir Gehör geschenkt hat und ich mein Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt und dem Wunsche, den du mir äußertest, gewillfahrt habe,

Και ήλθεν η γυνή προς τον Σαούλ και είδεν ότι ήτο σφόδρα τεταραγμένος, και είπε προς αυτόν, Ιδού, η δούλη σου υπήκουσεν εις την φωνήν σου, και έβαλον την ζωήν μου εις την χείρα μου και υπετάχθην εις τους λόγους σου, τους οποίους ελάλησας προς εμέ·

And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thy handmaid hath hearkened unto thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me.

And so, the woman entered to Saul, (for he was very troubled) and she said to him: “Behold, your handmaid has obeyed your voice, and I have placed my life in my hand. And I have heeded the words which you spoke to me.
