μη γενοιτο ποτε συ να πραξης τοιουτον πραγμα, να θανατωσης δικαιον μετα ασεβους, και ο δικαιος να ηναι ως ο ασεβης μη γενοιτο ποτε εις σε ο κρινων πασαν την γην δεν θελει καμει κρισιν;

μη γένοιτο ποτέ συ να πράξης τοιούτον πράγμα, να θανατώσης δίκαιον μετά ασεβούς, και ο δίκαιος να ήναι ως ο ασεβής μη γένοιτο ποτέ εις σε ο κρίνων πάσαν την γην δεν θέλει κάμει κρίσιν;

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Let such a thing be far from you, to put the upright to death with the sinner: will not the judge of all the earth do right?

Far be it from you to do this thing, and to kill the just with the impious, and for the just to be treated like the impious. No, this is not like you. You judge all the earth; you would never make such a judgment.”

Far be it from thee to do so, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that the righteous should be as the wicked — far be it from thee! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?

इस प्रकार का काम करना तुझ से दूर रहे कि दुष्ट के संग धर्मी को भी मार डाले और धर्मी और दुष्ट दोनों की एक ही दशा हो। यह तुझ से दूर रहे: क्या सारी पृथ्वी का न्यायी न्याय न करे?

你絕不會作這樣的事：把義人與惡人一同殺死，把義人和惡人一樣看待，你絕不會這樣！審判全地的主，豈可不行公義嗎？”
