لذلك فقل لبيت اسرائيل. هكذا قال السيد الرب. ليس لاجلكم انا صانع يا بيت اسرائيل بل لاجل اسمي القدوس الذي نجستموه في الامم حيث جئتم.
Protož rci domu Izraelskému: Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Ne pro vás já to učiním, ó dome Izraelský, ale pro jméno svatosti své, kteréhož jste poškvrnili mezi národy, kamž jste přišli,
Derfor sig til Israels Hus: Saa siger den Herre, Herre: Jeg gør det ikke for eders Skyld, Israels Hus! men for mit hellige Navns Skyld, hvilket I have vanhelliget iblandt Hedningerne, hvor I kom hen.

Διά τούτο ειπέ προς τον οίκον Ισραήλ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Εγώ δεν κάμνω τούτο ένεκεν υμών, οίκος Ισραήλ, αλλ' ένεκεν του αγίου ονόματός μου, το οποίον εβεβηλώσατε μεταξύ των εθνών, εις τα οποία ήλθετε.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye went.
For this cause say to the children of Israel, This is what the Lord has said: I am doing this, not because of you, O children of Israel, but because of my holy name, which you have made unclean among the nations wherever you went.
A corrupt heart will cause grief, and a man of experience will resist it.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations whither ye went.
