Augenblicklich erfüllte sich das Wort an Nebukadnezar: er wurde aus der Verbindung mit Menschen ausgestoßen, nährte sich von Gras wie die Rinder, und sein Leib wurde vom Tau des Himmels benetzt, bis sein Haar so lang gewachsen war wie Adlerfedern und seine Nägel wie Vogelkrallen.

Sofort ging das Wort an Nebukadnezar in Erfüllung: er wurde aus der menschlichen Gesellschaft ausgestoßen, so daß er wie die Rinder Grünfutter verzehrte, und sein Leib vom Tau des Himmels benetzt wurde, bis ihm die Haare gewachsen waren wie den Geiern die Federn und die Nägel wie den Vögeln die Krallen.
ελαλησεν ο βασιλευς και ειπε, Δεν ειναι αυτη η Βαβυλων η μεγαλη, την οποιαν εγω ωκοδομησα δια καθεδραν του βασιλειου με την ισχυν της δυναμεως μου και εις τιμην της δοξης μου;

The king spake and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling-place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?

Au même instant la parole s’accomplit sur Nebucadnetsar: il fut chassé du milieu des hommes, et il mangea de l’herbe comme les bœufs, et son corps fut baigné de la rosée des cieux, jusqu’à ce que ses cheveux soient devenus longs comme [les plumes] de l’aigle, et ses ongles, comme ceux des oiseaux.

Da tok kongen til orde og sa: Er ikke dette det store Babel, som jeg har bygget til kongesete ved min veldige makt og til ære for min herlighet?

împăratul a luat cuvîntul, şi a zis: ,,Oare nu este acesta Babilonul cel mare, pe care mi l-am zidit eu, ca loc de şedere împărătească, prin puterea bogăţiei mele şi spre slava măreţiei mele?``
(4:30) Тотчас и исполнилось это слово над Навуходоносором, и отлучен он был от людей, ел траву, как вол, иорошалось тело его росою небесною, так что волосы у него выросли каку льва, и ногти у него – как у птицы.
I samma stund gick det ordet i fullbordan på Nebukadnessar; han blev utstött från människorna och måste äta gräs såsom en oxe, och av himmelens dagg vättes hans kropp, till dess att hans hår växte och blev såsom örnfjädrar, och till dess att hans naglar blevo såsom fågelklor.

他 說 ： 這 大 巴 比 倫 不 是 我 用 大 能 大 力 建 為 京 都 ， 要 顯 我 威 嚴 的 榮 耀 麼 ？
他說：“這大巴比倫城不是我用大能大力建造作我的京都，為顯我威嚴的榮耀嗎？”
