وجاء داود الى بيته في اورشليم. واخذ الملك النساء السراري العشر اللواتي تركهنّ لحفظ البيت وجعلهنّ تحت حجز وكان يعولهنّ ولكن لم يدخل اليهنّ بل كنّ محبوسات الى يوم موتهنّ في عيشة العزوبة.

David pak přišel do domu svého do Jeruzaléma. A vzal král deset ženin, kterýchž byl nechal, aby hlídaly doma, a dal je pod stráž, a choval je, ale nevcházel k nim. A zůstaly zavřené až do dne smrti své v vdovství.

Og David kom til sit Hus til Jerusalem, og Kongen tog de ti Kvinder, de Medhustruer, som han lod blive til at bevare Huset, og satte dem hen i et Hus i Forvaring og forsørgede dem, og han gik ikke ind til dem; og de vare indelukkede indtil deres Dødsdag, levende i Enkestand.

Als nun David in seinen Palast nach Jerusalem zurückgekommen war, ließ er die zehn Nebenweiber, die er zur Hut des Palastes zurückgelassen hatte, in ein besonderes Haus bringen und sorgte dort für ihren Unterhalt, hatte aber keinen Verkehr mehr mit ihnen; so lebten sie eingesperrt bis zu ihrem Todestag gleichsam als Witwen bei Lebzeiten (ihres Mannes).

Als aber der König David zu seinem Hause kam in Jerusalem, nahm er die zehn Kebsweiber, die er zurückgelassen hatte, das Haus zu hüten, und tat sie in Verwahrung und versorgte sie; er ging aber nicht mehr zu ihnen; und sie blieben eingeschlossen bis an den Tag ihres Todes und lebten als Witwen.

Als nun David nach Jerusalem in seinen Palast gelangt war, ließ er die zehn Kebsweiber, die er zur Bewachung des Palastes zurückgelassen hatte, in ein besonderes Haus bringen und versorgte sie, jedoch ohne ihnen beizuwohnen. So lebten sie abgeschlossen bis an ihren Tod, bei Lebzeiten schon im Witwenstande.

Και ηλθεν ο Δαβιδ εις τον οικον αυτου εις Ιερουσαλημ· και ελαβεν ο βασιλευς τας δεκα γυναικας τας παλλακας, τας οποιας ειχεν αφησει δια να φυλαττωσι τον οικον, και εβαλεν αυτας εις οικον φυλαξεως και ετρεφεν αυτας· πλην δεν εισηλθε προς αυτας· και εμειναν αποκεκλεισμεναι μεχρι της ημερας του θανατου αυτων, ζωσαι εν χηρεια.

Και ήλθεν ο Δαβίδ εις τον οίκον αυτού εις Ιερουσαλήμ· και έλαβεν ο βασιλεύς τας δέκα γυναίκας τας παλλακάς, τας οποίας είχεν αφήσει διά να φυλάττωσι τον οίκον, και έβαλεν αυτάς εις οίκον φυλάξεως και έτρεφεν αυτάς· πλην δεν εισήλθε προς αυτάς· και έμειναν αποκεκλεισμέναι μέχρι της ημέρας του θανάτου αυτών, ζώσαι εν χηρεία.

And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and provided them with sustenance, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.

Så kom David hjem til Jerusalem. Og kongen tok de ti medhustruer som han hadde latt bli tilbake for å ta vare på huset, og lot dem bo i et hus for sig selv under varetekt; han forsørget dem med det nødvendige, men gikk ikke inn til dem. Så kom David hem igen till Jerusalem. Och konungen tog då de tio bihustrur som han hade lämnat kvar för att vakta huset, och satte in dem i ett särskilt hus till att där förvaras; och han gav dem underhåll, men gick icke in till dem. Där förblevo de nu instängda till sin dödsdag och levde redan under hans livstid såsom änkor.

大 衛 王 來 到 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 進 了 宮 殿 ， 就 把 從 前 留 下 看 守 宮 殿 的 十 個 妃 嬪 禁 閉 在 冷 宮 ， 養 活 他 們 ， 不 與 他 們 親 近 。 他 們 如 同 寡 婦 被 禁 ， 直 到 死 的 日 子 。
