وتقولان لعماسا. أما انت عظمي ولحمي. هكذا يفعل بي الله وهكذا يزيد ان كنت لا تصير رئيس جيش عندي كل الايام بدل يوآب.

προς τον Αμασα μαλιστα ειπατε, Δεν εισαι συ οστουν μου και σαρξ μου; ουτω να καμη ο Θεος εις εμε και ουτω να προσθεση, εαν δεν γεινης αρχιστρατηγος παντοτε εμπροσθεν μου αντι του Ιωαβ.

προς τον Αμασά μάλιστα είπατε, Δεν είσαι συ οστούν μου και σαρξ μου; ούτω να κάμη ο Θεός εις εμέ και ούτω να προσθέση, εάν δεν γείνης αρχιστράτηγος πάντοτε έμπροσθέν μου αντί του Ιωάβ.

And say ye to Amasa, Art thou not my bone and my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

And say to Amasa, Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God's punishment be on me, if I do not make you chief of the army before me at all times in place of Joab!

And say to Amasa: ‘Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God do these things, and may he add these other things, if you will not be the leader of the military in my sight, for all time, in the place of Joab.’”

And say to Amasa, Art thou not my bone and my flesh?God do so to me and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually instead of Joab.

फिर अमासा से यह कहो, कि क्या तू मेरी हड्डी और मांस नहीं है? और यदि तू योआब के स्थान पर सदा के लिये सेनापति न ठहरे, तो परमेश्वर मुझ से वैसा ही वरन उस से भी अधिक करे।

És Amasának azt mondjátok: Nemde te is nem én csontom és testem vagy-é? Úgy cselekedjék velem az Isten és úgy segéljen, ha nem leszel a sereg fővezére minden időben én előttem Joáb helyett.

也 要 對 亞 瑪 撒 說 ： 你 不 是 我 的 骨 肉 麼 ？ 我 若 不 立 你 替 約 押 常 作 元 帥 ， 願 神 重 重 地 降 罰 與 我 ！

你們又要對亞瑪撒說：‘你不是我的骨肉至親嗎？我若不立你代替約押，在我面前作軍隊的元帥，願　神重重地懲罰我，並且加倍嚴厲地懲罰我。’”
