ولما وصل داود الى القمة حيث سجد للّه اذا بحوشاي الاركي قد لقيه ممزق الثوب والتراب على راسه.

Και οτε ηλθεν ο Δαβιδ εις την κορυφην του ορους, οπου προσεκυνησε τον Θεον, ιδου, ηλθεν εις συναντησιν αυτου Χουσαι ο Αρχιτης, εχων διεσχισμενον τον χιτωνα αυτου και χωμα επι της ο κεφαλης αυτου.

Και ότε ήλθεν ο Δαβίδ εις την κορυφήν του όρους, όπου προσεκύνησε τον Θεόν, ιδού, ήλθεν εις συνάντησιν αυτού Χουσαΐ ο Αρχίτης, έχων διεσχισμένον τον χιτώνα αυτού και χώμα επί της ο κεφαλής αυτού.

And it came to pass, that, when David was come to the top of the ascent, where God was worshipped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head.
