Και ειπε προς αυτους, Δια τι καμνετε τοιαυτα πραγματα; διοτι εγω ακουω κακα πραγματα δια σας παρα παντος τουτου του λαου·

तब उसने उन से कहा, तुम ऐसे ऐसे काम क्यों करते हो? मैं तो इन सब लोगों से तुम्हारे कुकर्मों की चर्चा सुना करता हूं।

他 就 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 為 何 行 這 樣 的 事 呢 ？ 我 從 這 眾 百 姓 聽 見 你 們 的 惡 行 。

以利就對他們說：“你們為甚麼作這些事？我親自從眾民那裡聽見了你們的惡行。
