وصرخ بنو اسرائيل الى الرب فاقام لهم الرب مخلّصا اهود بن جيرا البنياميني رجلا اعسر. فارسل بنو اسرائيل بيده هدية لعجلون ملك موآب.

Potom volali synové Izraelští k Hospodinu. I vzbudil jim Hospodin vysvoboditele Ahoda, syna Gery Beniaminského, muže rukou pravou nevládnoucího. I poslali synové Izraelští po něm dar Eglonovi králi Moábskému.

Da raabte Israels Børn til Herren, og Herren oprejste dem en Frelser, Ehud, Geras Søn, en Benjaminit, en Mand, som var kejthaandet; og Israels Børn sendte Eglon, Moabiternes Konge, Skænk ved hans Haand.

Da riefen die Israeliten den HERRN laut um Hilfe an, und der HERR ließ ihnen einen Retter erstehen, nämlich Ehud, den Sohn des Benjaminiten Gera, einen Mann, der linkshändig war. Durch diesen schickten nämlich die Israeliten die ihnen auferlegte Abgabe an den Moabiterkönig Eglon.

Da schrieen sie zum HERRN. Und der HERR erweckte ihnen einen Retter, Ehud, den Sohn Geras, einen Benjaminiten; der war lahm an seiner rechten Hand. Und die Kinder Israel sandten durch ihn Geschenke an Eglon, den König der Moabiter.

Da schrieen die Israeliten zu Jahwe, und Jahwe ließ ihnen einen Retter erstehen, Ehud, den Sohn des Benjaminiten Gera, einen linkshändigen Mann. Durch ihn sandten nämlich die Israeliten Tribut an Eglon, den König von Moab.

Και εβοησαν προς τον Κυριον οι υιοι Ισραηλ· και ανεστησεν ο Κυριος εις αυτους σωτηρα, τον Αωδ υιον του Γηρα, του Βενιαμιτου, ανδρα αριστεροχειρα. Και απεστειλαν οι υιοι Ισραηλ δια χειρος αυτου δωρα προς τον Εγλων βασιλεα του Μωαβ.

Και εβόησαν προς τον Κύριον οι υιοί Ισραήλ· και ανέστησεν ο Κύριος εις αυτούς σωτήρα, τον Αώδ υιόν του Γηρά, του Βενιαμίτου, άνδρα αριστερόχειρα. Και απέστειλαν οι υιοί Ισραήλ διά χειρός αυτού δώρα προς τον Εγλών βασιλέα του Μωάβ.

And afterwards they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour, called Aod, the son of Cera, the son of Jemini, who used the left hand as well as the right. And the children of Israel sent presents to Eglon, king of Moab, by him.

But when the children of Israel cried vnto the Lord, the Lord stirred them vp a sauiour, Ehud the sonne of Gera the sonne of Iemini, a man lame of his right hande: and the children of Israel sent a present by him vnto Eglon King of Moab.
