فمن اجل ذلك دخل دانيال الى أريوخ الذي عيّنه الملك لابادة حكماء بابل. مضى وقال له هكذا. لا تبد حكماء بابل. ادخلني الى قدام الملك فابيّن للملك التعبير.

A protož Daniel všel k Ariochovi, kteréhož ustanovil král, aby zhubil mudrce Babylonské. A přišed, takto řekl jemu: Mudrců Babylonských nezahlazuj; uveď mne před krále a výklad ten oznámím.

Daraufhin ging Daniel zu Arioch, welchen der König bestellt hatte, die Weisen von Babel umzubringen; er nahm ihn beiseite und sprach zu ihm: Bringe die babylonischen Weisen nicht um! Führe mich vor den König, so will ich ihm die Deutung verkündigen.

Demgemäß begab sich Daniel zu Arjoch, dem der König aufgetragen hatte, die Weisen Babels hinzurichten, und sprach zu ihm also: Richte die Weisen Babels nicht hin! Führe mich hinein vor den König, so will ich dem Könige die Deutung geben.

Υπηγε λοιπον ο Δανιηλ προς τον Αριωχ, τον οποιον ο βασιλευς διεταξε να απολεση τους σοφους της Βαβυλωνος· υπηγε και ειπε προς αυτον ουτω· Μη απολεσης τους σοφους της Βαβυλωνος· εισαξον με ενωπιον του βασιλεως και εγω θελω φανερωσει την ερμηνειαν προς τον βασιλεα.

Υπήγε λοιπόν ο Δανιήλ προς τον Αριώχ, τον οποίον ο βασιλεύς διέταξε να απολέση τους σοφούς της Βαβυλώνος· υπήγε και είπε προς αυτόν ούτω· Μη απολέσης τους σοφούς της Βαβυλώνος· είσαξόν με ενώπιον του βασιλέως και εγώ θέλω φανερώσει την ερμηνείαν προς τον βασιλέα.

Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon; he went and said thus unto him: Destroy not the wise men of Babylon; bring me in before the king, and I will show unto the king the interpretation.

For this reason Daniel went to Arioch, to whom the king had given orders for the destruction of the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, Do not put to death the wise men of Babylon: take me in before the king and I will make clear to him the sense of the dream.

Så gikk da Daniel inn til Arjok, som kongen hadde gitt pålegg om å drepe Babels vismenn; han kom og sa til ham: Drep ikke Babels vismenn! Før mig inn til kongen! Så vil jeg kunngjøre kongen uttydningen.

După aceea, Daniel s'a dus la Arioc, căruia îi poruncise împăratul să piardă pe înţelepţii Babilonului; s'a dus, şi i -a vorbit aşa: ,,Nu pierde pe înţelepţii Babilonului! Du-mă înaintea împăratului, şi voi da împăratului tîlcuirea!``

I följd härav gick Daniel in till Arjok, som av konungen hade fått befallning att förgöra de vise i Babel; han gick åstad och sade till honom så: »De vise i Babel må du icke förgöra. För mig in till konungen, så skall jag meddela konungen uttydningen.»

於 是 ， 但 以 理 進 去 見 亞 略 ， 就 是 王 所 派 滅 絕 巴 比 倫 哲 士 的 ， 對 他 說 ： 不 要 滅 絕 巴 比 倫 的 哲 士 ， 求 你 領 我 到 王 面 前 ， 我 要 將 夢 的 講 解 告 訴 王 。

但以理入宮見王於是但以理進去見亞略，就是王委派去殺絕巴比倫的智慧人的，對他這樣說：“不要殺絕巴比倫的智慧人；請把我帶到王面前，我要把夢的意思向王解釋。”
