وكان في اليوم السابع ان الولد مات فخاف عبيد داود ان يخبروه بان الولد قد مات لانهم قالوا هوذا لما كان الولد حيّا كلمناه فلم يسمع لصوتنا. فكيف نقول له قد مات الولد. يعمل اشرّ.
Stalo se pak dne sedmého, že umřelo dítě. I nesměli služebníci Davidovi toho oznámiti jemu, že by umřelo dítě; nebo pravili: Aj, když ještě bylo dítě živo, mluvili jsme jemu, a nechtěl slyšeti hlasu našeho, což pak když jemu díme: Umřelo dítě. Ovšem to tíže ponese.
Og det skete paa den syvende Dag, da døde Barnet, og Davids Tjenere frygtede for at give ham til Kende, at Barnet var død; thi de sagde: Se, der Barnet var levende, talede vi til ham, og han hørte ikke paa vor Røst, hvorledes skulle vi da sige til ham: Barnet er død? thi det maatte gøre ham ondt.

Es gäbe ein Unglück ab!«
Am siebenten Tag aber starb das Kind. Und die Knechte Davids fürchteten sich, ihm zu sagen, daß das Kind tot sei, denn sie dachten: Siehe, als das Kind lebendig war, redeten wir mit ihm, und er folgte unsrer Stimme nicht; wieviel mehr wird es ihm wehe tun, wenn wir sagen: Das Kind ist tot!
Da am siebenten Tage starb das Kind. Die Höflinge Davids scheuten sich jedoch, ihm zu melden, daß das Kind gestorben sei, weil sie dachten: Hat er uns, so lange das Kind noch am Leben war, kein Gehör gegeben, als wir ihm zuredeten, wie können wir ihm nun sagen: das Kind ist tot, daß er ein Unheil anrichte?

Και εφοβηθησαν οι δουλοι του Δαβιδ να αναγγειλωσι προς αυτον οτι το παιδιον απεθανε· διοτι ελεγον, Ιδου, ενω εζη ετι το παιδιον, ελαλουμεν προς αυτον, και δεν εισηκουε της φωνης ημων· ποσον λοιπον κακον θελει καμει, εαν ειπωμεν προς αυτον οτι το παιδιον απεθανεν;
Και την ημέραν την εβδόμην απέθανε το παιδίον. Και εφοβήθησαν οι δούλοι του Δαβίδ να αναγγείλωσι προς αυτόν ότι το παιδίον απέθανε· διότι έλεγον, Ιδού, ενώ έζη έτι το παιδίον, ελαλούμεν προς αυτόν, και δεν εισήκουε της φωνής ημών· πόσον λοιπόν κακόν θέλει κάμει, εάν είπωμεν προς αυτόν ότι το παιδίον απέθανεν;
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead; for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he hearkened not unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead!
And then on the seventh day the child's death took place. And David's servants were in fear of giving him the news of the child's death: for they said, Truly, while the child was still living he gave no attention when we said anything to him: what will he do to himself if we give him word that the child is dead?

For they said: “Behold, when the child was still alive, we were speaking to him, but he would not listen to our voice. How much more will he afflict himself, if we tell him that the boy is dead?”

Hetednapra azért meghala a gyermek, és nem merik vala a Dávid szolgái néki megmondani, hogy meghalt a gyermek, mert ezt mondják vala: Ímé, még mikor a gyermek élt, szólottunk néki és meg sem hallotta szónkat; hogyan mondanánk meg néki, hogy meghalt a gyermek, hogy magának bajt szerezzen?

Or avvenne che il settimo giorno il bambino morì; e i servi di Davide temevano di fargli sapere che il bambino era morto; poiché dicevano: "Ecco, quando il bambino era ancora vivo, noi gli abbiam parlato ed egli non ha dato ascolto alle nostre parole; come faremo ora a dirgli che il bambino è morto? Egli andrà a qualche estremo".

På den syvende dag døde barnet; men Davids tjenere torde ikke fortelle ham at barnet var død; de tenkte: Mens barnet var i live, talte vi til ham, men han hørte ikke på oss; hvorledes kan vi da nu si til ham at barnet er død? Han kunde gjøre en ulykke på sig.
Sjuande dagen døydde barnet. Då våga ikkje tenarane åt David melda honom at barnet hadde slokna. Dei tenkte: «Tala me til honom med barnet var i live, so lydde han ikkje på oss; kor kann me då melda honom at barnet hev slokna? Han kunde gjera ei ulukka!»
I stało się dnia siódmego, że umarło dziecię. A obawiali się słudzy Dawidowi, oznajmić mu, iż umarło dziecię, bo mówili: Oto, póki jeszcze dziecię było żywę, mówiliśmy z nim, a nie słuchał głosu naszego; cóż gdy mu powiemy: Umarło dziecię, dopier oż się będzie trapił.

O que poderá ele fazer a si mesmo se dissermos que o menino está morto?".

到 第 七 日 , 孩 子 死 了 。 大 衛 的 臣 僕 不 敢 告 訴 他 孩 子 死 了 , 因 他 們 說 : 孩 子 還 活 著 的 時 候 , 我 們 勸 他 , 他 尚 且 不 肯 聽 我 們 的 話 , 若 告 訴 他 孩 子 死 了 , 豈 不 更 加 憂 傷 麼 ?
到了第七天,孩子死了。大衛的臣僕不敢告訴他孩子死了,因為他們說:“看哪,孩子還活著的時候,我們勸他,他尚且不聽我們的話。現在我們怎麼能告訴他孩子已經死了呢?他會傷心欲絕的。”
